Romantic Evas cottage is located  in a small village called Gouves which is in the municipality of Hersonissos in the Heraklion area.
Municipality of Hersonissos is one of the top ten destinations in Greece.
Gouves village is both a coastal and a mountain village.
The house  is a new built with all the modern comforts but also with traditional adds, surrounded by pure nature. 
 
Romantic Evas Cottage is provided with the special sign of the Greek Tourist Organization (EOT-1039K91002971501) which secures the quality level of all services, terms and conditions our guests have  the priviledge to enjoy during their stay.
 
Enjoy your time at the big green yard by your private pool while children can play safely all sports, swings etc as the area has lockable gate. 
 
It is a three level house  with great view and it has 4 double rooms (2 Double beds – 4 Single beds) , 3 shower rooms, fire place for romantic nights, huge green yard 1200sqm with private pool, swings, big terrace, definitely gives you a warm and cozy sense you don’t want to leave. 
 
The kitchen has all you need to prepare the most delicious local flavors you will find in the fridge or  you can eat at the local taverns of the village or by the beach. 
 
Kids Playroom, Mini gym, HDTV, Free Wi-Fi Internet,Security Alarm, Satellite TV, DVD-CD player and a small selection of books, DVDs and toys will be available to you. Also 2 strollers,food seat, child relax and cots are available.

The cottage is cleaned up twice a week inside and outside and includes linens and towels.
Heated Swimming pool and kids pool, umbrellas and sun chairs, grassy ground and shower, pool towels also are provided. 
 
There are many places to visit nearby such as the beautiful beach with the amazing sunset, the Cretan aquarium, the water parks, experience scuba-diving,  the churches of the village, Knossos museum, Ilithiias and Agias Paraskevis caves and walks in the countryside are a delight. Any kind of shop is at walking distance! Also you have the chance for a daily cruise at the most famous small islands like Santorini.
 
Crete as it may sound absurd is an ideal destination for those who want to ski at Cretan mountains. With many options (Psiloritis - White Mountains), alternative routes - crossings and in combination with the quality of life would not be an exaggeration to say that the island of Crete is a paradise for those who want something different deep in the heart of winter.

Heaven on Crete at Romantic Evas Cottage!

Excellent place to stay


The villa gave us everything we needed and the pool provided hours of fun for our grandchildren. The meal on our arrival was very much appreciated and enjoyed by the whole family. The generosity of Yiannis and Eva was exceptional and much more than we expected. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in this area.

Our home was absolutely lovely. Eva and Yiannis were the perfect host.


From the moment you walked out of the airport, Yiannis was waiting to take us to our home away from home. They even had a dinner prepared for us of stuffed peppers and tomatoes, Greek salad, dokos with feta. He showed us how the smart home operated, with all its modern technology updates. This house is a must, if you want to be pampered like Greek gods. They are very knowledgeable about their country and were always willing to answer any of your questions.

Great house, great stay


We stayed at Romantic Eva\'s Cottage for six days in late February - it was rainy and fairly cold (for Crete), but the fireplace helped heat up the house quickly. Eva and Yiannis were great hosts and Gouves is a good base for exploring Eastern Crete.
