Located in northern Rethymno Thalassa Residence boasts striking architecture and it it encapsulates luxury living delivering peace and tranquillity, as it’s wide open to the fresh summer breeze and warm greek sun! Designed specifically for summer living, Thalassa Residence is best suited for big families or a group of friends, as it is ideally located within walking distance to the lively town of Panormos, when one can find all that’s needed daily.
 
Exterior
The pool terrace epitomises the concept of summer and it is the perfect location to sit and watch the sunset or enjoy the 42 m2 private, overflow swimming pool (with varying depth of 1,20-1,40m). Lay on the comfortable sun beds, pool bean bag chairs or the outdoor siting area and have a cold drink, read your favourite book or listen to your favourite music from the provided Bluetooth dock and have fun with your friends and family! 
 
The 610 m2 terrace also features a large, 3 X 2m, heated jacuzzi, which fits up to 6 people and it’s located next to the pool. Spoil yourselves by using the 80 hydromassage jets or enjoy a chromotherapy session using the RGB lighting, offering a complete mind and body refreshment.
 
To make things even better, just besides the jacuzzi there’s a lovely lawn covered area, where your kids will be having fun at the playground area which can be found a few steps away! Also, 2 bicycles are provided so you can wander around the picturesque village of Panormos!
 
Lastly, make sure not to miss the opportunity to try al fresco dining, using the gas BBQ  facilities to prepare your homemade meals and enjoy them at the shaded outdoor dining area for 12 guests under the pergola. 
 
Interior
Spread across three levels, this outstanding, 510 m2 property accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 immaculate double bedrooms. High quality furnishings, with touches of modern and classic style, state of the art appliances and all modern amenities make it an ideal choice for a relaxing villa vacation. Furthermore, Thalassa Residence is suitable for guests with restricted mobility and it’s wheelchair accessible, as its interior is flat. Also, an elevator offers easy access to all levels of the Villa and guests can have direct access to the pool terrace from the ground floor living  room.
 
Lower Ground
The lower ground of the Villa is destined for complete relaxation and hours of entertainment. For those who don’t want to stop practising during their holiday and always be in shape, there’s a well equipped gym with a treadmill, static bicycle, a butterfly machine and workout weights!
 
Additionally, a recreation area that boasts a comfy sitting area, home cinema with a  52’ flat screen TV, sound system, a Playstation 4 console (which can also play Blue Ray disks) and pool table, ensures that everyone will have a good time with their loved ones!
 
In addition, a wooden sauna cabin, where you can relax naturally, before entering the pool or after a busy day is also available at this level.
 
Finally, one bedroom can also be found at the lower ground of Thalassa Residence. All six bedrooms have 32’ TVs, boudoirs, black-out curtains, are air-conditioning, and feature en-suite bathrooms with shower cabins, equipped with hydro massage columns. In all bedrooms the beds could be set up either as a Super King Size Bed (1.80X2.00) or as two single beds (0.90X2.00).
 
Ground Floor
Using the stairs or the elevator, guests can reach the ground floor where the cosy sitting room, with large corner sofa invites you to take a seat and gaze upon the unobstructed sea view, provided by the surrounding glass panels, while the modern fireplace in the middle of the room adds a homely touch. 
 
The open plan area also included a dining area for 10 guests and offers and direct access to the pool terrace.
 
A few steps way, the fully equipped kitchen with island counter and breakfast counter for 6, provides everything that’s required for a self catered holiday, as well as direct access to the outdoor area, BBQ facilities and dining table
 
Last but not least, two more bedrooms are located on the ground floor of the Villa, one of which is benefited by wonderful sea views and direct access to the pool terrace, while the other one with country side views.
 
First Floor
On the first floor of Thalassa Residence lie the remaining three bedrooms, two of which offer beautiful views to the sea and blue horizon, while the last one opens up to the country side. All bedrooms have access to balconies equipped with patio furniture.

We were a group of friends, including adults and children, staying in May 2018. The Villa is absolutely stunning, really comfortable beds, great location and such friendly helpful hosts. The whole place has been really well thought out. I would recommend this villa to anyone, we loved it.

Most amazing house!


Our party of 9 (4 adults, 5 adult children) spent a spectacular week at this house. This house is exactly what the pictures show. There is some natural landscape right below the pool - it isn\'t right on the water. You just have to appreciate the natural Crete landscape. (We didn\'t consider this a negative.) The house was so well equipped for us to make meals in the kitchen or on the grill. We all enjoyed the infinity pool to read, sunbathe, and play games as well as view the Mediterranean Sea/Sea of Crete. The pool decking was not hot to our feet even if the temperature was really high. We never felt crowded in the house because it was so spacious. We felt totally safe in the area and in the house. Beautiful sunrises as well as sunsets were visible from the pool deck. My only concern might be for very young children or elderly people because the stairs were marble and could be slippery. Some staples (such as coffee, milk, bread, sugar, fresh fruit, etc) were left for us. It was very nice! Closest large grocery was in Rethymnon (about 25 minutes to the west) and smaller markets in Perama. A two minute walk to the beautiful, rugged shore let us relax in some protected coves. We could easily walk to the Panomos village for shopping or meals. The town was built up enough to have both, but it isn\'t crowded nor overly touristy. We had 2 small issues (grill out of gas and hot water pump not working), but they were fixed so fast! The house manager was so attentive and nice. Recommended restaurants: Porto Parasiris and Captain\'s House Things to do: JoyRide.Bike (Panormos), Discovery Safaris - 4 wheelers/buggies in the back country (Rethymnon), Paraschakis olive oil tour (Meldoni area) It was a wonderful week in Crete!

Great place for a large group. House and views are both beautiful. Walking distance to Panormo, a pretty village with a good selection of local restaurants, beaches and shops.
