Relaxing place to stay

My family of 5 just returned from staying at this charming farmhouse for 4 nights. It is stocked with everything you need--and then some! It is great having room enough for all of us to spread out, unlike in a hotel room. It is close enough to area attractions, but then you can come back to the house and relax after being out for the day. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night. The sun room was very spacious and offers a wonderful view of the feeding area for the wildlife. Harold was very helpful in answering our questions about things to do in the area and is a very nice gentleman.

Juniata College Mom from New Jersey

We have stayed at hotels, motels, cabins, and trailers while visiting my son at Juniata college but none of our stays compared to our stay at the farmhouse. I wish we knew about this gem of a rental before. The farm was clean, spacious, warm and had everything and more in household needs that you could think of. The sunroom/observation room was a treat. Our first night we saw a black bear in the back woods. We also saw porcupines, deer, racoons, and bunnies in the back woods on the following nights. Our dog was in Springer Spaniel heaven jumping in and out of the babbling fresh water Creek next to the property. I would like to come back for a full week to get more hiking in at the state land that border the property.

Wonderful quiet weekend!!

Charming farm house away from the hustle and bustle. My husband and I had a quiet weekend it was wonderful. Lots of hikes in the woods. We will definitely be coming back soon with the kids. Mr. Colbert was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

Relaxing.

The owners were as nice as can be. Had everything you could possibly need. It\'s a very quiet, secluded setting assuring a peaceful time. The home is older but very well maintained and very clean.
