Large Waterfront Mystic Two Bedroom with Pretty Yard

Description

The Apartment:
This house is big, fun and welcoming! Looking west at the Mystic River, this bright, first-floor apartment has spectacular water and sunset views, but maintains privacy with shutters on the lower windows.

The newly refurbished apartment has a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of counter space and a dishwasher, two bedrooms (each sleeping two), a small office space for business travelers, and a spacious common room for dining and relaxing with a very comfortable sleeper sofa that can sleep two more.

This is the entire first floor apartment of a three-floor, multi-family house.  You'll have complete, unshared access to everything on the first floor, plus shared access to the back and front porches and the back yard.

The Neighborhood:
Historic Greenmanville was once largely owned by the Greenman brothers, who built a shipyard and textile mill and rented houses to workers.
The shipyard and mill have been preserved by becoming Mystic Seaport, the Museum of the Sea.
Greenmanville is the most lively part of Mystic, and is halfway between Downtown Mystic and Mystic Village shops, restaurants and theaters.
It is just a short 5 minute walk to a large 24 hour convenience store, for all of your late night snack needs.

Getting Around:
Most of Mystic's attractions are within about one very flat mile, so walking is very doable.  There is also a community bikeshare (free with a $10 refundable deposit) located at Coogan Farm just three doors north on Greenmanville Ave.

The SEATbus system runs around Mystic and to New London, Norwich, and some other local cities.  Route #10 goes right past the house.
Mystic is very driveable, and the house has off-the-street and street parking, but parking is a little tough to find in the heart of downtown Mystic.  Try the back streets, or just walk from the house.

Great Place! Highly recommended!

Great location near Mystic with ice cream shop across the street! A couple of blocks from the museum. Very clean with nice amenities! Owners were very accommodating!

Great place and location!

Our hosts were so nice and very helpful!

PERFECT RENTAL MYSTIC

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. There were 4 of us 3 sisters ( one was turning 60) and my daughter. Location was perfect right across from ice cream shack (had just closed because we came later in year) and an incredible seafood shack which was open. Rental was also right across the street from a large inlet and water was beautiful to walk. We stayed on the first floor and it was perfect for 4. House was immaculate and had every amenity that you could imagine, including coffee and basics to cook. Place was large, roomy and loved the 2 bathrooms and the washer and dryer. I had to fly back to Arizona so nice to come home with clean clothes. Location was really close to downtown Mystic that could be walked (unfortunately my sisters were not walkers) and great places to eat. Owners were really nice and helpful with all our questions when we arrived. There were 2 rentals above us but noise was never a problem. Plenty of parking in driveway and street. Large grassy back yard for kids. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay!!!
