Villa Eshta is a hostel made by travelers, for travelers! We are perfectly located in the heart of the very animated Calle Loiza, the upcoming avenue in San Juan. It’s famous for its unique combination of local and international vibes, full of bars, thrift stores, restaurants, clubs, dancing bars and even after-party spots. Across from the hostel we have a 24h pharmacy, a landmark bakery Kasalta, and a famous pizzeria.
 
We are exactly two blocks from the sands of Ocean Park Beach which is a local beach full of ice-cream, jelly-shots, empanadas, beer and water vendors.
 
All rooms and Dorms include: Fresh linen and a Complimentary bath towel, High speed internet, AC, Lockers in the dorms (you must bring your own padlock),

Great Time


I had a great time at this hostel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They had a great communal outdoor space that made it really easy to meet other people and be social. They had a big bbq when we were there and were happy to share! The beach is a short walk and there are shops and restaurants right across the street, even a 24 hour walgreens. Everyone needs a key to get in and out of the hostel making it very safe. the beds were comfy and everything was very clean.

Only stayed for one night and it was nice! The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is a super cool common area for travelers to mingle and hangout. The hostel is roughly 5 minute walk from the Ocean Park beach public access. Incredible Italian restaurant right next door and good coffee shop/bakery across the street. Only negative was the room and bathroom had a ton of mosquitos - might need to wear bug spray while sleeping :(

my whole stay was wonderful from the employees and the actual owner they were all so friendly . The rooms are spacious and the communal kitchen is great. cutest kittens ever. 2 very small blocks to the beach. a 24 hr walgreens which sells everything but freah produce. restaurants everywhere. I plsn on returning soon. great job guys!!!

We enjoyed the private room for value. Staff gave us some good advice..esp. woman from North Carolina working there. Its was very quiet for a hostel..except for garbage trucks next door
