The best of the best!

I had no idea what to expect when traveling to Belize because my Uncle had made all of our arrangements, but boy did he find a nugget of gold with Beck\'s B&B! Robert picked us up from the airport and I could tell that we were dealing with quality people right off the bat. Their property was very well maintained with native flowering plants in the court yard and hammocks on the upstairs deck. There were 6 of us all together so we stayed in their large 3 bed family sized room, beautifully decorated and complete with A/C and a large sized bathroom with shower stall and mini fridge. Beck and her family were very welcoming and friendly. Their little dog Smokey was cracking us up as we walked the property with Robert and his grandson Kai, showing us their many cashew and coconut trees and native plants. We even got to sample one of the coconuts that Robert opened for us and Kai showed us how to use a \"monkey comb\" to style his hair lol! After strolling through their courtyard complete with humming birds and an above ground pool and deck we were invited to have dinner in their family sized dining room. The food was AMAZING! We also had breakfast before we left the next morning and Beck did not disappoint. Local fruits and the whole 9 yards including house made hibiscus tea! What a treat. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to get a real taste of what it\'s like to live in the back woods of Belize. I will be coming back for sure the next time I travel to this area. A MUST SEE!

Fabulous

Unfortunately, we had only one night to stay, but are planning on going back. Gorgeous surroundings with birds all around. We observed so many birds up close flying around the beautiful flowering trees and bushes. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing. The food was some of the best meals we’ve ever had.

Wonderful property, fantastic hospitality

We only stayed one night at Beck\'s B&B at the end of our trip, but we would go back in a heartbeat! They have a wonderful house and property with clean rooms and plenty of common areas. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the hosts are wonderfully hospitable! It is a way back on the island, but well-signed so it was easy to find.

Lovely secluded getaway with a great diversity of birds

This B&B provides excellent service in all areas: large, well-appointed room, extremely comfortable (big) bed, hearty breakfasts, friendly and accommodating staff/owners, and delicious dinners ordered each morning. The highlight for us was the diversity of birds and the feeders placed around the yard attracting hummingbirds and 5 species of orioles, not to mention the many others on the premises and surrounding areas, as well as the nearby lagoon. We also made a most interesting visit to the Lamanai Mayan ruins which are accessed by a 50-minute speedboat ride on New River from Carmelita located a 30-minute drive from Crooked Tree. All in all, it was a perfect 3-day respite from the northern Alberta winter to which we returned home.

Wonderful

Beck\'s B&B is a fantastic place to stay in Belize. We stayed in a room on the second floor with a large comfy bed and a huge bathroom. We organised pick up and a few tours with the B&B and Robert was a brilliant host. He was going to even drive us to town to see the bank as we had issues with our credit card (thankfully all sorted via email) and took us around Orange Walk Town for ice cream and tacos after the Lamanai tour. Everyone was so friendly and made us really feel at home. Absolutely loved sitting in the garden watching the hummingbirds and giving Smokey the dog belly rubs. There\'s a pool to cool off in as well. We had dinner every night at the B&B and the food was incredible. You get 3 courses and the slow cooked pork chops were the best I\'ve ever had. You certainly won\'t go hungry here. Overall a very relaxing place to stay and we would love to return for a visit in the not too distant future.

Birders paradise

The setting is beautiful, inside and out. The rooms are furnished beautifully with every comfort. The landscape abounds with flowers and cashew trees. A short trip to the lagoon affords view of unique water birds, but many varieties can be seen from the porch and garden of the property.
