Description
MOUNT EDGECOMBE PLANTATION offers a serene vacation experience, nestled above the Caribbean Sea, on the spice and cocoa rich island of Grenada
The plantation represents a rarity that may not be found elsewhere in the Caribbean. The traditional accommodation is surrounded by 28 acres of colourful flora, with cocoa and a variety of aromatic spices, fruit and vegetables.
PLANTATION HOUSE
A self-contained and historic example of a traditional estate owner’s house of that time. Completely and beautifully restored, the Plantation House compromises an entrance hall, drawing room, snooker room, study, kitchen/dining for 10, master bedroom (with king size bed) with ensuite, dressing room, together with an additional 3 guest bedrooms (one queen, one double, and one triple single) with two bathrooms.
The most stunning feature of the Plantation House is the extensive, wrap around, covered living/dining verandah offering 180 degree views of the Caribbean Sea, just 100 meters (109 yards) away with the tropical gardens in the foreground.
The Plantation House sleeps 9 but there are 4 additional nutmeg rooms providing accommodations for a further 10 guests. Mount Edgecombe Plantation provides very personal service for up to 19 guests. Exclusive use of the entire estate provides the dream location for an intimate wedding, family reunion, and private event of special interest groups.
