Absolutely loved Aruba

We rented both Condos listed here at the Divi Resort. We had two families. The family of four stayed in the Studio condo, and the family of five stayed in the one bedroom condo (rented a rollaway bed for $25/week). We had plenty of room for everyone. We loved having two kitchens and made great use of them! We hit the grocery the first day and got breakfast and lunch items. We ate a couple dinners in too. The resort has very accessable grills that we used to cook out one night. But we were right down the street from a huge array of restaurants, so we went for most dinners. Our balaconies overlooked the pool and had a great view of the beach and the beautiful sunset every night. The Divi Phoenix sits at the end of the high rise resort area. There is a boardwalk that runs along the beach past all the other resorts, restaurants, shops, ice cream, donuts, etc. We really enjoyed walking down and seeing all the other places, but we liked the Divi best because the beaches were not crowded. Being at the end of the boardwalk, we felt like we were in a much more private resort. Our rooms were very clean! The housekeeping does not make the beds and clean daily. They come mid-week on Wednesday to clean and change sheets out. But they do come daily with clean towels. It was kind of nice not having to work around the cleaning crew every day. The kitchen in both units have a full refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop and micro-bake oven (mircowave). But not a full size oven. Not a problem for us since we didn\'t eat many dinners in and the microwave handled all we needed. We ate and drank at the swim up bar and pool restaurant frequently. It was good food and not too overpriced. The Divi had a cabana set up on the beach for water sports and the most helpful conceirge. We took the full day jeep tour and highly recommend it! The sun is hot in Aruba, but there are plently of huts on the beach for shade. You do have to get out there early to reserve one, but then you have it for the whole day. The pool was extremely clean. Our 4 teenagers and 1 pre-teen were in the pools half the vacation! We bought floats/ balls at the gift shop and they had so much fun playing in the water. The owner Tony was great to work with. He gave us lots of helpful tips and told us where to go for groceries. We really did not want to leave. We all agreed we would go back in a minute. Aruba is a safe, clean, friendly, modern island with clean drinking water. One Happy Island!

Loved my trip to Aruba and the Divi

I rented the Divi Resort condo from Tony and we could not have been happier with Aruba, the Divi accommodations, or working with Tony. It was our first time to Aruba and the island lives up to its name as The Happy Island. People were super helpful and friendly. Though it looked like there were many nice resorts, I would choose the Divi over the others as the pool area is protected from the winds due to the Divi design, there was no problem getting chairs by the pool (no need to go early and reserve), staff was extremely helpful, and the grounds were well kept. We received fresh towels every day, which was nice. We cooked dailybreakfast and 2 meals in the condo and used the grill since there is no oven. The one bedroom was big enough for my husband and I and our 2 grown sons. I reserved a roll away bed but ended up returning it since the sofa bed was big enough for the guys. The Aruba bus system was great source of transportation for our sons to travel to the end of the route by the Marriott to Kite Surf. It is with some trepidation that I rent from an individual, but Tony and his location at the Divi was great! Tony was true to his word and answered all of my questions. I would have loved to stay for another week in Aruba. There are a number of excellent restaurants along the resort strip, the beaches are beautiful, and the Divi is very comfortable, with a great location.

Beautiful

Our experience with Tony was excellent. The rooms were great and the views are spectacular. Very family friendly with great pools and you can\'t beat the beach. Trade winds are always strong but it helps keep the humidity at bay. Perfect vaction for couples and families. Everyone is very friendly. Only negative is you have to get up very early to save a spot on the beach!! But it is worth it! Thanks Tony for a great experience.

Perfect, quiet family vacation

Studio condo was clean with a great view of the water. Everything you need in the room, fully stocked kitchen with laundry. Great location for families with 2 pools. Will definitely be back.

Perfect Vacation Setting

We love Aruba and really enjoyed our stay at the Divi Phoenix beach. We had two small kids as well as grandparents and aunt and uncle and it was the perfect place to accommodate all the different needs! The kitchens are perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch and the bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. We love the pools at Divi especially the shallow kids fountain pool which our toddlers loved! Also perfect for the little ones is that the ocean water at the Divi Phoenix beach is very calm. The Divi is just a short walk to the other hotels, casinos, & restaurants! We enjoyed pure ocean the first night for their beach BBQ! In addition, Tony was very pleasant to work with! He was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Thank you for a great experience and stay! We will definitely be back.

Lovely studio with fantastic view!

This lovely studio was just perfect for my husband and me - we stayed for a week and wished we didn\'t have to leave! The room was clean, comfortable and offered much more space than your standard hotel room. (Having a full kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine was certainly an added bonus.) The ocean view was definitely unbeatable.. and the sunsets from the room/balcony were just gorgeous! The resort itself was beautiful, well-managed and perfectly situated on it\'s own somewhat private beach between two jetties and away from the busyness of the rest of Palm Beach, but if you wanted in on the action you could walk just a few minutes along the water or boardwalk. It was also about a 5 minute walk from the downtown Palm Beach shopping center with tons of delicious restaurants and shops. Tony and his wife were vacationing the same week as us and were staying in the room next door - they were gracious and checked in when we\'d see them in passing, but also left us alone to enjoy our trip.
