This "Lazy Dayz" Key Largo home offers direct ocean views from the living areas and bedrooms. From your very own spacious balcony, watch the beautiful sunrises and sunsets while enjoying your delicious meals and endless conversations. This quaint home is complete with a Tiki Hut, picnic table, patio seating, grill, and 47 feet of private dock. Guests are also allowed to dock up to 21 feet of their own private vessel. Guest must notify owner of its boat length. Guests are not allowed to use the boat lift. Owner will have its own private boat in the boat lift during its guest use of the property.   
 
The interior of the home have been completely renovated and decorated with casual coastal colors giving this home a very Keys feel. This home has 2 bedrooms / 2 full bathrooms. Home can comfortably accommodate to 4 guests. The master bedroom with west views of the water is decorated in a calming teal reminiscent of the nearby waters. Here, you'll find a king-size bed with a bonus room complete with a full-size bed. The second bedroom, outfitted in a dazzling blue, contains a queen-size bed and west views of the water. 
 
The home has FREE high speed Internet service, Direct TV, Bose Bluetooth Speakers, and Flat Screen TV's in each room. For guest's added convenience, this home includes an upright washer and dryer and able to store sporting equipment in the renter's storage.  
 
There's also a shopping center less than a mile with stores like Publix Supermarket, KMart, restaurants, bank, etc.  Within close driving distance are many restaurants that have been televised on the Food Network Show (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) boasting local chefs with their signature seafood, steaks, pastas, and many more. Don't forget the Key Lime Pie - Yummy!!.
 
Our home is located in a private community where guests can have access to the community private beach or use the home private dock ladder to use for swimming/snorkeling enjoyment.  You will also find many sporting activities within the area where you'll find rental facilities such as jet skiing, boat, paddle boarding, kayak, bike rentals, scuba diving, and many more.    
 
If you're up for a short road trip, the Everglades sit just under 40 miles away. Get (not too close up) acquainted with alligators and various birds, and be sure to stop by local restaurants for some local cuisine.   
 
This tropical retreat will have you feeling like royalty. You and your family are worth it, so don't wait another second to book!.

Beautiful location, beautifully maintained and beautifully decorated!


Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us! It was clean, comfortable and the views were magnificent. Our photos of the sunsets were amazing. A quiet neighborhood - great for a week of relaxation, great weather and plenty of activity. The restaurants recommended were superb. We will certainly consider rebooking.

The house could not have been better for our stay. Views over the bay were amazing inside and out!


The weather was changeable and very windy during our stay. The property made it possible to enjoy every day no matter what the weather! Lounge chairs on lower deck under a lanai or table and stools on upper deck made enjoying the space no matter what the weather! Supermarkets, fish markets all available nearby. Easy ride to Islamorada and on to Key West. Rick was always reachable to assist or answer any questions you might have. Would return in a heartbeat!

Fabulous Views, Beautiful Weather, Lots of Fun!


My husband Mike and I spent a magical month in Lazy Dayz cottage in February 2018. The expansive views of sunsets from the deck and windows of this house are fabulous, some of the best you can see in the Keys. Every night was different, but equally gorgeous. You can also enjoy the views from the patio beneath the house, where there are tables for dining and relaxation. In the morning, the panoramic view reveals the rosy sky of sunrise, too. Tarpon Basin is sheltered and calm, but still full of activity that is fun to watch, including many birds, boats, kayakers, paddleboaders and sealife. We saw dolphins, and manatees swam along the seawall just under the surface. You are right on the water so the view is outstanding! The neighborhood has a private sandy beach for the residents, as well as a boat launch and a covered pier. My husband fished from the sea wall of our house at least once a day and also fished from the neighborhood pier. The weather was warm during the day with pleasant evenings. We didn\'t miss the freezing temperatures at home! We\'ve already scheduled a return trip to Lazy Dayz in 2019! The house is very close to a shopping center with a Publix and a K-Mart as well as many smaller stores, which offer just about anything you might need. Among the nearby sightseeing sites we visited were the Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park, a glass bottom boat ride at the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary and Rehabilitation Center (on Tavernier Island). We also made three day trips to Key West and stopped at the Key Deer Refuge along the way. Waterfront restaurants we enjoyed were Buzzard\'s Roost (oceanside canal, Key Largo), Snook\'s Bayside Restaurant and Grand Tiki (bayside Key Largo, great sunsets), Sundowners (bayside Key Largo, sunsets!), Bayside Grill and Sunset Bar (bayside Key Largo, sunsets!), Lazy Days (Islamorada Ocean side), Islamorada Fish Company and the Zane Grey Lounge (Islamorada bayside, lunch at each one, didn\'t stay for sunset but I\'m sure they are spectacular!) Rick was a wonderful host and continues to add improvements to the house. We really appreciated the cargo elevator! You\'ll really enjoy this spectacular home!

Fantastic views and location


We really enjoyed our stay at Rick\'s property. The location is great and the views from the deck and water side dock are the best. We loved our morning and sunset kayaking, plus a few visits from Dolphins and Manatee can\'t be beat. We also really liked snorkelling right from the property. I had read that there are issues with bugs in the Keys, but, we had no issues with bugs at all and loved sitting out on the upper deck after sunset with a beverage. Nothing \"bugged\" us at all. The location is also perfect to quickly drive over to the John Pennekamp and spend the day. Rick was great to deal with and answered all my questions, would rent this property again.

Fun and relaxing.


The house was perfect for the four of us. Everything we needed was there, except maybe a mop. Not that we needed to clean but a month is a long time. The views from the front room, deck and dock area was wonderful. We had plenty of space to put our toys and felt very secure. Enjoyed kayaking right from the property. If you are going to kayak I suggest you go up the canal closest to the beach. so you can see manatees. Some times they came by the dock.
