Roger is super cool, lots of interesting conversation and fun to talk to. Amazing hotel with incredible views. Everything is easy, we rented our avt (or quad bike) -very useful btw- from him, so no need to go into town. In and out from the hotel at any time, super clean, very comfortable, 5 star bedrooms. Nice pool with the best sunset in Mal Pais. Missed out on some tours with him and his kids (pro surfers). Will be back sometime for sure. Thanks Roger & family !

Amazing Vista Las Olas


The view was spectacular.... better than the photos!!! Very quiet during the day and morning... good breakfast ... the room was spacious and the bed comfortable.... We loved the outdoor shower :)

I have traveled the world, and Hotel Vista de Olas is probably the best hotel I have seen.


Roger and his family greeted us like we were distant relatives who they did not yet know, but had always wanted to meet. We felt like a part of the family and were treated with the utmost of kindness, friendliness, and respect. The property could not have been more breathtaking, or well-managed. All of the meals were excellent, especially considering that we had them while looking at one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen.
