Located on 2.7 acres of meadows and partially wooded lot, the house has been custom designed and built in 2009. It serves as a great example of a log home architecture, with real handcrafted logs and exposed timbers everywhere indoor and outside. It starts with a powerful and still elegant entrance to the property and magnificent port-cochere over the circular driveway. Inside you will find up to 24-foot high cathedral ceilings, all-stone wall fireplace, lofts supported by handcrafted logs. Douglas fir beams and stairs, pleasant knotty pine interiors, and no drywall! Front porch and large covered three-quarter wrapping deck offer spectacular views on sunrise and sunset.
 
Pleasant ten minutes walk on no-traffic road to the common area with a boat launching ramp and private slip for a boat or a jet ski. Waterskiing, windsurfing, kayaking, jet skiing, fishing - that’s what the lake for!
 
Extras:  We are offering various water sports equipment for rent: Jet ski (Sea-Doo water ski edition, 215 HP). Water skis for kids and adults. Wet suits of all sizes. Complementary use of life vests of all sizes. Sailboards, sails. Inflatable kayak. Inflatable katamaran with paddles. Inflatable jumping water platform. Fishing rods (kids don’t need fishing licenses). As a part of a great summer fun for kids we offer inflatable slide 'Pirate ship' on the property
 
Highly recommended: we are offering highly recommended water ski lessons for all ages and all levels. Experienced instructor has a winning record at former Soviet Union water ski National Championships (slalom, long jumps, tricks), and she is very good at teaching kids how to water ski! Our happy customers are ranging from 4 to 74 years young! Advance scheduling is required.

our family vacation


we thought the place and location was awsome. The lake was close enough to enjoy and we also enjoyed the museum and battlefield in Spotsavania. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool and the trip to play mini golf. All in all it will be a vacation to rember.

50th anniversary


Great size for our 15 member family including 7grandkids. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was a real plus. Swimming pool was perfect.....someone was always in it. Very pleased. Best way to communicate with owner was by texting.

Unique area!


It was a very unique house with great attention to the bathrooms, linens and the towels-all of these were very luxurious. The house was clean but some little things were lacking in attention- could not locate grill tools , the kitchen is not very user friendly, and no diving board in the pool. Most of the couches are peeling from use. That being said, the house is very spacious and clean. The salt water pool was very nice. The house is located in the country side but not too far from town(12min to grocery store). Thanks for the great stay!
