Clustered on the southern most tip of the Caribbean island of Barbados, the Inchcape Seaside Villas Inchcape reside on Ananias Point. Facing into the gentle breezes of the trades, Inchcape overlooks one of the islands most beautiful and unspoiled white sand beaches, Silver Sands Beach. Inchcape is surrounded by brilliant clear blue  and turquoise water. Visibility is undisturbed at up to fifty feet. Swimming and snorkeling are superb. Surfing is exceptional in the shorebreak only steps away from the house. Most noteworthy is it’s location as one of the best kite- and wave windsurfing spots on earth. Life is casual and unhurried in the true Barbadian tradition.
 
The Inchcape Seaside Villa, see here on our own website http://www.inchcape.net, are a beach front estate comprising six spacious, individual houses in the compound, all with colorful gardens of tropical flowers and views of the sea, and all are tastefully furnished and completely equipped for their guests comfort. Each house has it’s own style, character and quality. The buildings are named to match their special features. “Seaside” was at one time the seaside resort of a plantation owner. It was built in 1920 from the island’s natural stone, the coral stone, and beautifully restored in 1993, perfectly preserving it’s colonial style. The “Seaside Cottages” are very special accommodations, providing Caribbean lifestyle and living it at it’s best. It does consist of three very upmarket 1-bedroom apartments with a number of luxury features, stretching over 2 floors and with beautiful views of the ocean. So is the “Gatehouse”, once developed from the former stables and today a wonderfully restored, very Caribbean looking house, which can function as three individual apartments as well as two bedroom or three bedroom house. The three units, the 1 bedroom apartment “Tower” and the two studios “Coconut” and “Seaview” are in a class of their own. “Sunrise” is in a beautiful location right on the water’s  edge and so is “Sunset” to it’s west, with the upstairs 2 bedrooms apartments offer 270 degrees views along the South Coast. “Courtyard”, which is also part of an old plantation house completes the variety of accommodations at the Inchcape estate.
 
Note concerning calendar:
Please note that we do not serve calendars on booking websites as they are not customer friendly at all. To explain: in case a potential guest inquires about a unit for which the first or last day is not avaibale, the system would tell you "not available”, ignoring that almost all days except 1 are available. Once the system does not turn down your inquiry and reaches us, we can give you different options of how we could make your stay possible although the one or other night might not be available.

As long as circumstances allow us to do so, we answer our e-mails regularly, on most days several times per day. We try to answer any question you might have, no matter whether it may be concerning Inchcape, Barbados or anything else!

In case the villa of your choice should not be available for all the time you requested it for we will make alternative suggestions to best suit your needs. For certain holiday periods a minimum number of nights might apply as a booking requirement. Rules might change without notice at all times.

In the event of an unforeseeable situation to have to relocate a guest, we reserve the right to provide another equal accommodation or a free upgrade to higher priced category.

All Inchcape Villas are exclusively promoted by Trade Winds Travel Limited, which handles all booking enquiries in the above-mentioned process.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

After having received a booking we will e-mail you a booking confirmation and the payment instructions. We will also inform you in our booking confirmation how the balance payment is to be paid.

To keep a booking confirmed we require a down payment of approximately 50% of the total rental fee (or payment in full), usually within three to seven days (this may vary) from the day of booking via bank transfer. For bookings within 30 days from the arrival day, we require payment in full within 3 days from the day of booking. As the time frame for a downpayment might vary, please read your booking confirmation carefully.

We usually require balance payments to be credited to our account 30 days before the day of arrival. For certain booking periods as for instance Christmas / New Year and in high season we may require a minimum no. of nights for a specified time frame and payment in full 60 days ahead of the arrival date. Payment options can vary under special circumstances, and could for inst. also be cash upon arrival. We will always let you know in our booking confirmation how to proceed. Once we have confirmed a booking, the booking is considered to be final and dates cannot be changed.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

In our efforts to keep our rates as low as possible, all rates published on our website are based on payment via bank transfer. Those rates also apply for cash payments.

We also accept payments via credit card, Master card, Visa or American Express, for which a 4%fee will be added to the total.

Accepting payments in Bitcoin is our latest addition to our payment options. For those who choose to pay in Bitcoin a mid market price for BTC in relation to the US Dollar or Euro will apply.

Normal occupancy in a two bedroom unit is four people maximum and the one bedroom units are meant to accommodate two persons max. Exceptions are possible in certain houses and can only be granted by the Property Manager. Please always indicate the number of people in your party with your reservation request. The max. no. of persons given in a booking confirmation can not be exceeded, unless it has been authorized by our Property Manager.

SPECIAL RULES FOR BOOKINGS UNDER 7 NIGHTS

We might not always be able to guarantee a specific unit for bookings under 7 nights. In case we confirmed a particular unit butcannot provide this unitupon arrivaldue to unforeseeable circumstances, we reserve the right to accommodate this booking in an equal unit or give afree upgrade to a higher and more expensive accommodation category.

TAXES &OTHER CHARGES

7,5% VAT is to be added to all bills. Kindly note effective January 1, 2020 VAT on all bookings will be 10%.

Kindly note that the Government of Barbados has introduced a TourismLevy of $ US 4,38 / Bds. 8.75 p. night and bedroom, effective April 1, 2019. This levy is not included in the total given to you and is to be paid in cash upon arrival.

Aone time cleaning fee will be charged for each rental unit. $ US 50 for our one bedroom units and studios with a max. occupancy of 2 persons p. unit, $ 80 - 100 is the cleaning fee for our larger units, all depending on the particular unit and it's occupancy.

Check in time is 4 pm in the afternoon, but may vary to earlier or later depending on our arrival and departure situation. Check out time is 11 am, but may vary as well, as we always try to make a departure as convenient as possibleforour departing guests.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

First of all we wish to recommend to take travel insurance for the full amount of the rental fee. Just in case you need to cancel your booking we will always try to recover days of a canceled booking and if this can be achieved, corresponding refunds will be granted.
