Weather permitting there are great views of the moon over the ocean at night and schools of porpoises seem to swim by the coast frequently during the day! Tons of activities for the entire group, you won't hear the 'Mom I'm bored' from the kids! Priceless. Both indoor & outdoor pools w/the indoor pool heated year round! Just steps to the Atlantic! Kiddie pools, tennis courts, racket ball courts, fitness facility, saunas, private beach, summer time entertainment on the deck, shuffle board, beach volley ball, 'tiki' style deck lounge, onsite shops (clothing, ice cream, arcades, mini pharmacy etc.) this resort is bound to please the whole family. You must be 25 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent. Motorcycle friendly!
 
Step out onto the balcony from the living room or master bedroom and take in the smell of salt air, the feel of the ocean breeze and the awesome views of the Atlantic & sandy beach! Unobstructed, beautiful views to the north or the south as well as the entire beach and ocean directly in front of you. Kinda like a tiny resort paradise. BTW, there are floor to ceiling windows in the master bedroom and living room, and the balcony even has a clear unobstructed view while sitting down. (There are no spindles or concrete walls to block the view while seated like almost all of Ocean city's other ocean front properties.) Also this condo is not set back on the side of the building or at an angle with only partial views, this is true direct ocean front that parallels the beach. After a full day at the beach sit back and relax at the Tiki Hut, an ocean front deck bar w/plenty of deck chairs and umbrella covered tables.
 
The home is located on the 17th floor and has a fully equipped kitchen with all the appointments. (Refrigerator, range/oven, microwave, coffee maker, ceramic tile, cookware, cooking utensils and plates & silverware.) Also for your convenience the condo has washer and dryer in the unit. (Non smoking unit, smoking only permitted in designated outdoor areas, again not allowed in the unit.) Ocean style decorating theme including the artwork! Flat screen Cable TV's, and plenty of DVD players. With the accommodations sure to please everyone in the group, you won't be disappointed! Absolutely awesome balcony with an exquisite view of ocean & beach included! If you, like me, prefer to stay at the better resorts but still get a great deal then this unit is the one for you!

Great condo! Clean and family friendly


Can’t say enough about the condo - it was well decorated, cozy and clean. Loved the ocean views from the living room and master bedroom!! Enjoyed the pool/beach and all the amenities the property offers. Loved seeing dolphins from the balcony and the fabulous sunrise! Communication with owner was spot on - I hope to be in touch to rent the condo in the future!

Fantastic view!


The best part about this unit is the view for sure! Waking up and being able to watch the sunrise every morning was amazing. The unit itself was clean enough (I did have to run some dishes through a dishwasher cycle before use) and had everything we needed. Golden Sands is a nice resort to stay at. Has an ice cream shop, deli, mini mart, gift/souvenir shop, arcade and a tiki bar, (where you can get grill food) all right on property. I was nervous about the elevators, I had read that they are a pain/slow, but besides check in and around 9/10am daily (had to wait a little for a non full one) they are just fine. I would suggest waiting until after 5 to check in if you can. Things are much calmer then. Also, if you want a good spot on the beach you need to get your spot claimed by 8 am. Seriously! People have their chairs and umbrellas set up before the sunrise (I know because I was up watching the sunrise almost daily). If you dont have set plans, heading down to the beach after 2/3:00 is, in my opinion, the best time down at the beach. Much less crowded. When check out time comes, if you need a cart make sure you grab one the day before if you can because they are all hiding in people\'s units by 6pm Friday night. If you can pack your car a little on Friday night that helps too. I do think so many people were packing their cars Friday night and checking out early Saturday morning that by the time we went to leave on Saturday, around 9:30, the check out crowd was gone.
