This isa family compound for 96years. The yard is huge, the roofs metal, the porches wonderful and you can toss a pebble right into the lake..
 
 Church dinners are frequent, farmers markets near(honor system) good restaurants snack bars antique shops & a 460 million year old 100 acre GOODSELL RIDGE PRESERVE FOSSIL reef site for you to explore is on the next island.  Adirondack mts and the Ausable Chasam (grand  canyon of the east)several Revelotionary and French & Indian forts are nearby. Green Mts & Stowe to the east Shelburne museum, world largest carriage collection,and farm  built by the same family that built Biltmore House in Ashville NC - a must see. Burlington and Montreal some 60 miles.

Quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing!


This rustic country cabin(s) on Lake Champlain is exactly what I wanted to experience on the Islands. Bob Kelsey was extremely helpful and is eager to please. He knows the area and where to go for restaurants or whatever your liking is! I plan to come back and will let my wonderful week of relaxation and not be at work to set in!

Family fun!


A wonderful place to bring the family, beat the heat and escape life for awhile. The cottages are full of rustic charm and quickly felt like home. Bob was a great host and enjoyed the garden veggies he shared with us.

Disconnect and Reconnect


A true diamond in the rough for families who really, really want to get away from it all. Two rustic homes, full kitchens and space for more. Tents? No problem! Well behaved dogs? All good! Bob is the best low-key host, who collected our garbage and recyclables throughout the week. While checking in, he brought us gifts of fresh home-grown veggies and oregano. Lots of privacy and access to a canoe and dinghy to investigate the bay from a private beach. Gas grill, 2 open fire pits and space (40 acres to be exact) to roam. An amazing location, you are a five minute drive from Hero’s Welcome, North Hero House, and Harborside Harvest Market. A true getaway from the connected world so be prepared to return to your childhood’s week at summer camp! My family had a wonderful time!

Peaceful, private and beautiful scenery


The cottages were rustic old school charm! Robert is terrific! He was very responsive to any concerns and questions.. The yard was wonderful for games and the dock was perfect for securing our pontoon boat. We all enjoyed our time in Vermont at Roberts cottages!
