WE have the unique service of Aurora Cams so that once we share the service with you, you will be able to see when activity is happening and KNOW when to go outside and get out there to see them, instead of having to stay up all night outside in the cold, you will know right when to go out!!!! This is part of the cost of our nightly rate, included in the price! CHECK OUT THE AURORA VIDEO RIGHT OVER OUR PROPERTY! Watch it till the end it gets really good! You can even keep on seeing them after you have left and gone home, if you wish to subscribe to the cam service after you have departed! We are waiting to welcome you here and give you an excellent, lovely experience staying with us! The services we provide, are hard to quantify, but I also act a lot like a concierge, even before you arrive and while you are traveling around the state of Alaska, since we have a lot of knowledge about places to go and activities. The time I take to send you the links to tours, etc, so that you have a great trip, is hard to put a price on. 
 
Please, with the way flights have been cancelled or changed at the last moment, and other factors which come up beyond your control. we strongly suggest that you buy travelers insurance in order to secure your funds, in case of a last minute cancellation. We have been very gracious over the last 2 years and have given refunds when we were not required to, but we cannot do this any longer. We are holding to a firm cancellation policy in the future. 
 
View the aurora video that my husband took of fantastic auroras right over the house in September! It is the 3rd photo frame one in. Then click on the arrow in the middle of the screen to play it. It shows the auroras Raging over our house! This is a common occurrence when the aurora activity is high. Our place is more than just the apartment, it is the location, and the beautiful surroundings in the grounds around it. AND IF you only need room for 2 people, we also have a 2nd smaller suite on the same 3 acres of land, listed on this site under # 1523206, the Bungalow suite. Flower gardens, a lawn with ornamental shrubs and trees, a small deck and grill, woods all around the perimeter for privacy, a walking, skiing or running trail right from the back of the property, a small greenhouse to sit in for a peaceful cup of tea. This beautiful 800 sq.ft. one bedroom apartment has all new furnishings and is comparable to a private hotel suite, but better. There are many EXTRAS that are included such as FREE wi-fi and data streaming TV, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, extra Winter gear- parkas, boots & gloves for guests' use, fresh garden herbs for your use, an outside grill, that if you figure that into your cost elsewhere, it is actually less expensive to stay here. (Winter gear would cost up to $250 + if you bought it yourself) Private separate entrance on the ground floor.The main bedroom with queen sized bed, all new bedding & new premium mattress. Also a smaller room with a new queen sized bed , in addition two very comfortable airbeds if needed. Apartment can accommodate up to 4 people,. ,desk, Full bathroom includes washer & dryer, hair dryer, shampoo & conditioner. Fully equipped kitchen with all dishes, pots & pans, cooking utensils, basic spices, etc. Morning coffee and tea is provided. There is an outside grill on a small deck near the greenhouse for your use. There is a walking or running or  biking trail, right from the back of the property onto the trail. Our place is conveniently located near the University of Alaska Fairbanks, (3 miles), and 8 minutes from the airport, 8 minutes from shopping. The rental is the entire ground floor, of almost 800 sq ft, we live up above in the upper two floors so that we are available to make sure all your needs are met.   
 
The view from the window is a mix of spruce, birch and aspen trees. Flower gardens, including iris and lilacs, and an herb garden and greenhouse are on the property. In the Summer, we are close to the botanical garden at UAF, and in the Winter, if the auroras are out, they are very likely to be seen right over our house, with no city light pollution to dilute them. For extended stay, we can talk about a Monthly rate.  Generally for anything over a month, we need to get references from your current landlord or other references. Have a great journey!
