ASK us about the new Aurora Cam service we are offering! WE have the unique service of Aurora Cams so that once we share the service with you, you will be able to see when activity is happening and KNOW when to go outside and get out there to see them, instead of having to stay up all night outside in the cold, you will know right when to go out!!!! This is part of the cost of our nightly rate, included in the price!   You can even keep on seeing them after you have left and gone home, if you wish to subscribe to the cam service after you have departed!  CHECK OUT THE AURORA VIDEO OF RIGHT OVER THE PROPERTY ! Watch till the end. We can now offer you a seasonal rate if you wish to have the Aurora Cam service for the whole aurora season which is from mid- August to April 10.   We are waiting to welcome you here and give you an excellent, lovely experience staying with us!   The services we provide, are hard to quantify, but I also act a lot like a concierge, even before you arrive and while you are traveling around the state of Alaska, since we have a lot of knowledge about places to go and activities. The time I take to send you the links to tours, etc, so that you have a great trip, is hard to put a price on. 
 
Please, with the way flights have been cancelled or changed at the last moment, and other factors which come up beyond your control. we strongly suggest that you buy travelers insurance in order to secure your funds, in case of a last minute cancellation.  We have been very gracious over the last 2 years and have given refunds when we were not required to, but we cannot do this any longer. We are holding to a firm cancellation policy in the future. 
 
A well-crafted apartment in the quiet & solace of surrounding woods, yet within 8 to 10 minutes drive from grocery stores, or airport, and only 3 miles from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. This is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath luxury suite of rooms, private & perfect for either one or 2 persons, max. This property is at the same location as one other larger apartment suite, on the same 3 acres of property in the other house. The owners have received 128 - 5 star reviews, for the other vacation rental, and they have put all the care and attention to detail into this brand new, beautiful bungalow as well! A sense of peace and comfort envelope you as you enter, and you will appreciate the fine craftsmanship inside as you look around. The entire suite is like one piece of art. In addition, this is a fantastic location to see the auroras, when they are active, as they arc right over the property, when it is clear out and the aurora activity is moderate. The owners will make sure your stay is very comfortable, and provide you with the information you need, in order to book activities or tour around town and the area.

Aurora Serenity


The space was perfect for us- everything was clean and tidy, they are courteous and supportive hosts, and the aurora cam was a huge plus. We spent several evenings out late hoping for auroras but some of the best we saw were literally thanks to the cam being handy! As an aside, we had issues with our flight and luggage not arriving (with all of our winter gear) and Carol and Les went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Cannot recommend more highly! Thank you!!

Both the chalet and bungalow were very comfortable and the property is convenient to Fairbanks. All 4 of us enjoyed the experience. The auroracam kept us notified of any possible northern light displays. We would have missed it otherwise. Our flight arrived very late, after 1 am, but Carol still kept in touch with us to make sure we arrived and settled in. It was great to be welcomed with a plate of home baked cookies especially since we hadn't been able to get food due to the airline delay. For us it was a perfect place to stay with all the amenities we needed. Also loved that it had a walking path directly from the property. We definitely plan to return.

This is a great place to stay. The location is within easy driving distance to anything you want to do in the Fairbanks area. At the same time you feel like you are in a beautiful, private area. Perfect setting! The unit itself was the perfect size - very clean, comfortable and cozy. We would definitely return.
