Description

With only a 5 block walk to Indiana University's campus or boutique shops and dining on Kirkwood makes this home an ideal spot for groups or families. This charming 2 bedroom home is set in the perfect location. Beautifully updated with lots of upgrades to make it feel like home away from home.  
 
FRONT PORCH
Upon approaching our home you'll be welcomed by a large and inviting front porch, furnished nicely with padded, modern wicker furniture and outdoor lighting and ceiling fan. This is our favorite place in the house, such a nice spot to enjoy some wine or coffee and listen to the mini Bluetooth Bose speaker!   
 
LIVING ROOM
After entering through the main front door you'll enter a large and brand new furnished living room with original hardwood floors through most of the home. Each bedroom and living room all have their own flat screen TV with cable access including HD channels. Children’s toys suitable for children under 7 are provided in the toy box here as well.   
 
BEDROOMS
The large master bedroom has tons of natural light, hardwood floors and is furnished with a king sized, memory foam mattress with 800 thread-count sheets and down comforter at the end of the bed for colder nights. The second bedroom is the same size as the master with hardwood floors and 2 full size sized memory foam beds. 
 
DINING & KITCHEN
In the dining room we have hardwood floors, original built-ins, crystal chandelier and a dining table set for 6. High chair is also available for your little one! The kitchen has recently been renovated to include beautiful custom inset cabinets, quartz countertops, farmhouse sink and stainless appliances. We have supplied some pots and pans, utensils, dishes, wine glasses, drinking cups and silverware for your convenience, however, no cooking spices or basics are guaranteed. Kitchen also includes a Keurig coffee brewer and help yourself to the coffee kcups. There’s also a nice assortment of delicious teas, honey and sweetener to use with the provided tea kettle.   
 
BATHROOM
The bathroom is newly remodeled with beautiful Carrera marble floors and countertops. Classic double washstand basin and large marble and tile shower with glass surround. Fresh white towels are provided, as well as shampoo, conditioner and body soap. We do have a laundry room off the kitchen if you need to use the washing machine or dryer please help yourself to detergents on hand.

OTHER INFORMATION:
Guests will have access to the entire house and property. Several days before check-in we will send you a message including a guide to our home and how to gain access to the home. During your stay you may contact me anytime for help or questions. If looking for suggestions please refer to our welcome guide upon entering the home on the desk. Our home is in the Elm Heights neighborhood surrounded by a combination of families and college students and if you're lucky catch a couple of our urban deer friends who like to sneak through the front yard.

Quintessential Bloomington Bungalow

Perfect for a Friends Reunion


This was the perfect place for a weekend reunion of 3 "mom friends" who met at IU Campus Children's Center when our kids were 2 years old. Our "kids" are now 29 and our friendship remains strong across the miles. The house is beautiful, funky, fun, and comfortable. The owner went above and beyond and her efforts are greatly appreciated. A true gem.
