This cozy two-story log home offers a 280-degree view from a wrap around deck & large A-frame windows. The circular staircase leads to a loft bedroom with a queen size log bed & sitting area for relaxing while enjoying the view. A separate bedroom has twin beds & full bath.
 
The space
Unwind in this hand crafted, dovetail log cabin only two miles from all activities. The Log Cabin features a two-story cozy log home feel with upscale Alaska decor. The Dovetail Log Cabin has a 280-degree view w/large A-frame windows to take in the awesome panorama views. The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, full bath and wonderful bay window and lounger for relaxing. A spiral staircase leads to a large loft bedroom with a queen log bed, as well as a queen sleeper sofa. The sofa in the living room on the main floor is also a hide-abed for additional guests. There are two twin beds in a separate bedroom. Outside you will find a deck with lounge furniture and a gas grill for cooking the catch of the day. You will find all the amenities of home including satellite TV, videos, games, and a telephone.
 
The Dovetail Bunkroom is an addition to the log cabin with private entrance and connected by deck. The addition has a full bath and twin beds.

Terms & Conditions

When you reserve a cabin, the cabin is removed from our inventory and considered sold to you and the AAC makes financial plans based upon the revenues it expects to receive during its peak season May - September.
 
It is impossible for the AAC to know in advance whether the AAC would be able to resell your contracted nights as a result of a cancellation. For these reasons, in the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply which represent a reasonable effort on behalf of the AAC to establish its loss prospectively.
 
All cancellations must be in writing and acknowledged by AAC management.
 *$50 cancellation processing fee once a deposit is made on all cancellations
 *60 days plus - full refund
 *30 - 59 days out - 50 % refund
 *29 - 15 days - 25% refund
 *14 or fewer days - no refund (if cabin space is resold in this short window of time, AAC will return funds less $50 fee).

Unique cabin with a wonderful view. Very charming and comfortable. Be prepared to experience a wonderful view when you awake to either a view of the spit, ocean or Bison! Everything worked as it should and Wi-Fi and dish included. Great place with character. Mind you this is an Alaskan cabin not a four seasons very clean and has everything you need for a nice getaway. Check in and out was a breeze and the owner was very responsive to any questions. Recommended.

What a view!!!


What a view!!! We really enjoyed our stay. Just know the bedroom does not got very dark so maybe bring some eye shades if you have a hard time sleeping with light. We were so busy with fishing, hiking, late card playing we were ok but definitely the summer daylight comes in at all hours. I knew that going into this home but felt the need to mention it. 5 stars for us and a 10 star view!
