Property Rules 
• No Pets Allowed.
• No Smoking or vaping on the property.
• Must be at least 25 years of age to book the property
• The maximum occupancy of the home is 8.
• Parties, gatherings, and functions of any type are strictly prohibited on the property.
• All trash must be disposed of in the designated bins and should never be left around the property
• Trash pickup is Tuesday and Friday mornings. Please place the blue trash can at the end of the driveway the night before.
• The bin is located inside of the carport.
• No Diving in pool / No Jumping from Balconies.
• When using fire pit. Do not leave flames unattended. Fire and embers must be completely extinguished before leaving the yard.
• Usage of the fireplace is prohibited.
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 AM.
• This home is equipped with a device that monitors. the environment inside the property. (Including noise levels and temperature (it does not record sound) to ensure guests have a pleasant stay and our neighbors are not disturbed.
• No on street parking is allowed in the neighborhood.
• Parking is only permitted in the driveway.
• Please ensure that doors and windows are locked and closed every time you leave.
• The home is a waterfront property. Children and any person who lacks full capacity must be supervised by an adult at all times. Especially when by the pool or canal. No exceptions.
• No tampering with outdoor cameras. Cameras are in place for our security and yours. Tampering with, covering, or disconnecting cameras will result in immediate cancellation without refund.
• Please use caution on exterior stairs.
• Air Conditioning. Setting air conditioning below 74° or heat above 78°, changing fan from Auto, or leaving doors, windows, or blinds open is prohibited.
• Safe Use. Guest must comply with all laws and rules.
• Fireworks, gas grills, and candles are prohibited.
• Guest must report chirping alarms to VRM immediately. Alarms & smoke detectors must not be tampered with.

5 Star Experience!


Hernando Hideaway was spectacular! We traveled from Ohio with an 8month old and a 5 year old for a family vacation. The house was impressively stocked with everything you would need and more, specifically geared toward children. The attention to organization was out of this world! The cleanliness and non decor were the cherry on top. Josie was responsive to any question and concerns we had. 5 STAR property and host!

Awesome Family Experience!


Loved loved loved this rental. Spent a long weekend at the house with 2 families, 4 kids and 4 adults. The property was well maintained and really catered to families. From the toiletries, the snack box, and the smore station, everything was well thought out. Josie was super responsive. And the location was perfect. Spent a day at Pine Island, a day at Weeki Wachee, and rented a pontoon for the day. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. Thank you so much!

Luxurious Stay at Hernando Hideaway!


This vacation rental was perfect for our family's annual scalloping trip. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The location is convenient to the marina and boat ramp as well as restaurants and grocery stores. We loved being able to dock our boat with quick access to the Golf and enjoy all the extras that made us feel at home. We enjoyed the stocked coffee and tea bar. The full s'mores station was a big hit for the kids as was the pool with all pool toys waiting for them. The hosts have thought of everything. Pack your clothes and food and the rest is covered. We will definitely be back next year!

The manager really has thought of everything to make this getaway the best and is accommodating, helpful and available when and if the time arises that you need assistance.
