We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain View Lodge.


Breakfast was very good. The staff were very pleasant. Views were great. Everything was clean and in good working order.

Better than expected


The softest bed I’ve ever slept on. I also liked that there was a table and chairs and a kitchenette with plates and the bathroom had towels. I also liked the star pad and that the porches all had red lights to help with light pollution.

Friendly and comfortable


Quiet and comfortable chalet just outside Fort Davis. There is also an option to dine in the cafe at breakfast. We stayed two nights and really liked it. Friendly, helpful staff. Not far into the great little town.
