Description

The Cottage enjoys an elevated location with extensive views across the South Tyne Valley. There are many areas of interest within a short drive including Hadrian's Wall, Hexham Abbey, Allen Banks National Trust Park, Pennine Way Long Distance Walk, Keilder Forest and Reservoir, Northumberland National Park and the Cheviot Hills.

An ideal spot to relax for people with interests in photography, walking, golf, fishing, historical buildings or just lazing about with a book on the patio.

We would like to welcome you to this beautiful cottage to share the wonderful setting we have enjoyed for over fifteen years. It has to be seen to be appreciated. Lying, as it does, in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country, there are lots of centres of interest. Have a look at Ordnance Survey Sheet 87 to get an idea of the number of Roman Forts in the vicinity. Naturally there are walks along Hadrian’s Wall (or the Roman Wall as it is known in the north east).
