Village shops just 3 miles distant or buy fresh bread and croissants on the doorstep from the boulangerie van. Wonderful Normandy cuisine in delightful restaurants/cafes throughout the whole area. Stunning 18 hole golf course within 10 minutes drive. Coastal course at Dieppe, two other courses within 30 minute drive.

Eight different gardens open to the public - less than 30 minutes drive. (Monetâ's garden just over the hour) Casino's at Dieppe and Forges les Eaux. Visit historic Rouen where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. Sea, river or pond fishing close by. Lovely sandy beaches with rock pools at low tide near Dieppe.

Succulent sea food available in the markets temptingly priced in the Dieppe restaurants. Weekend markets in Dieppe, Neufchatel en Bray, and Rouen. A great base for day trips to Honfleur, Paris, Normandy landing beaches, 1st World War battlefields.

Explore the banks of the Seine between Rouen and Le Havre. Sample the specialities of the area shop in the local country markets. A place of your own, to unwind, relax and dine al fresco or enjoy a cosy evening in front of the log fire.

Extra charges
Electricity, heating, water charges and logs for the fire are all included in our prices. There are no meters. Bed linen, towels, bath and shower mats and kitchen linens (tea towels, oven gloves) are all supplied. All beds are made up ready for your arrival. There is an extra local charge, payable to the housekeeper on departure, to cover the supply and laundering of the linens, together with the charge for the final clean. These charges are fixed and are irrespective of the number of nights booked. This means when you arrive all the beds are ready for you – no struggling with duvets and pillows after your journey. Better still, when you leave there is no cleaning to do – just have your breakfast, stack the dishwasher and depart feeling relaxed, refreshed and revitalised!

Locked line: Guests may wish to only receive calls or to have the capability to make calls to emergency services. There is no charge for this, and pre-booking is not required.

Unlocked line: Those who wish to make outgoing calls, or access the Internet point using their own laptop must pre-book (see booking form). Calls are charged at cost, with an addition of 1 Euro per day to cover the standing charge for the line. Charges will be deducted from the security deposit, which we will retain until we are in receipt of the France Telecom invoice. France Telecom billing dates are usually the middle of the month, bi-monthly – February, April, June, August, October, December.

Bikes
Four adult mountain bikes are available to hire. The hire charges are:


Weekend rate : 3 nights £10 per bike

Short break rate: 4 nights £15 per bike

Holiday rate: 7 nights or more £20 per bike


Length of bike hire must agree with length of holiday. For example, guests staying for a week, cannot hire bikes for a weekend period only.

Deposit and final payment
A deposit of one third of the total rental is required when the booking is made. The balance is payable 4 weeks before commencement of the holiday. A refundable security deposit of £100 Is payable with final invoice. All bookings must be accompanied by a fully completed and signed booking form. Please see full booking conditions on reverse of booking form. Cheques should be made payable to M. and J. Taylor.

Bank Holidays
France enjoys many more bank holidays than here in the UK. To plan your stay for the rest of the year, please consult this list, as you may want to take into account the fact that all supermarkets and most shops close in France on Bank Holidays. Restaurants and tourist attractions remain open, but special cheaper menus in restaurants are not always available on these days.
