Description

The Heritage was built in 1986-87; then a large addition was added in 1991.  It is located close to the ocean on property that was purchased by my Grandparents in 1941. The house that they built for their retirement is next door; now owned by my sisters. It is called \"The Evergreens\" after my Grandparents home on the Tufts University campus. I spent every summer of my life in Ogunquit, learned to swim in the Tidal River. Even though a lot has changed in Ogunquit since the 50\'s, it has retained its New England charm, and offers so much to do, a week is not really enough time to do it all! I ran the house as a Bed and Breakfast for about 14 years, and now am renting the first two floors out by the week from June-August.... it is also available as a Winter Rental from September through May. It offers 5 bedrooms, and 5 baths....yes, every bedroom has its own private bath, ceiling fan, television, VCR and DVD Player! On the first floor, there is a Master bedroom, (air conditioned) a large Living Room, large Kitchen/Dining Room with Jenn-Air gas grill and electric convection oven, as well as a refrigerator with outside water/ice dispenser, Laundry Room with HUGE Whirlpool Duet Washer/Dryer, a 3 person Hot Tub, and an office area with a High Speed Internet Connection.

On the second floor, there are two large bedrooms on the ocean side of the house, separated by another kitchen (yes, you heard me...a second \"3/4\" kitchen) with a large booth seating area, then two more large bedrooms. (This common area is air-conditioned). 4 bedrooms have queen-sized beds, two of which contain double futons as well. The fifth (largest) bedroom has both a King-sized bed and twin-sized bed. Let the kids or friends come and go from the second floor through a separate back stairway entrance, so they don\'t disturb those on the first floor. The shaded back deck is large enough to have a group of 20 over for dinner...with two grills, one of which has the new high tech Infrared Cooking surface.... Parking is off-street, and offers 5+ spaces, and the front yard offers a sunny spot to relax, and a relaxing, wicker furniture-filled front porch. What more can I offer?? Well, I reside in the third floor apartment, (separate outside entrance) so I am available for questions, restaurant reservations, and on-site help. It\'s a home with so many amenities, they couldn\'t all be listed....but having all of this within a 5-10 minute walking distance to the beach, fabulous Marginal Way and downtown Ogunquit is pretty unbelievable...and at a price that is very competitive with other homes in the area.
