Description

The view from the bedroom window, showing the vine covered eating area in front of the houseCasa Bartula, situated on the ground and first floorCasa Bartula is a spacious one-bedroom house, sleeping 3 to 4 people over two floors, in a traditional "balconied" style house typical of the local area (see picture at right), with great views to the south and west.

The house is located in the village of Bolzano Novarese (which means "Bolzano in Novara province", to distinguish it from the larger town of Bolzano in the Dolomites), where there is an extremely popular pizzeria / restaurant (Pizzeria Sirena) just 2 minutes walk from the house.  From the house there are great views of the village with the distinctive spire of the local church (see picture), and an amazing view of three other landmarks (see winter picture below) which are all lined up from this village: the twelfth century Tower of Buccione, the Madonna del Sasso church perched on a granite cliff on the other side of Lake Orta, and (on a clear day) the great snowy mass of Monte Rosa, the second highest mountain in the Alps, looming above the hills.

Casa Bartula has the use of the vine-covered eating area in the garden area in front of the house (see picture), and has off-street parking in front of the house.
