Description

River Trail Country Vacations was built by your hosts in 1999. Every detail has been carefully planned to give you a great Wilderness Vacation Experience with all the comforts of home and meals can be provided if you wish. All towels and bedding are also provided. Huge picture windows frame a large pond just yards from your door. Keep an eye out for passing wildlife. Beaver, Canada geese, deer and more have been frequently spotted from the deck. Guests have even reported seeing moose grazing in the pond early in the morning. Enjoy sing-along and story telling under star-lit skies at our fire-pit while waiting to view the awesome splendour of the beautiful Northern Lights. The long slope of the wheel-chair ramp provides easy access to the upper level. From the deck you will enter the main living area. You can create your own meals in our well equipped, fully modern kitchen using the stainless steel cookware provided. Also provided are toaster, coffee maker, grill, micro-wave oven, all dishes and towels. There are also a wheelchair accessible full bath and large bedroom containing a double and a single bed.

Downstairs are two bedrooms, each containing two twin beds. A full bath with stand-up shower and washer/dryer can also be found there along with a large living area with two hide-a-beds, TV with two local channels and VCR with a selection of movies. There is also ground level access to a small patio at the front of the cabin. The Bunkhouse. Sleeping quarters for large groups. For larger groups, there is a small bedroom cabin located at the rear of the main cabin. It has two sets of bunk-beds and a under-counter bar fridge to keep beverages cool.
