St Arnaud House is a boutique, secluded sub-alpine bed and breakfast retreat, set amongst the mature native beech forest New Zealand's Nelson Lakes National Park, alive with the fabulous bird songs of New Zealand's native Tuis, Bellbird's, Robin's and at night listen to the call of the Morepork. St Arnaud House is a renewable sourced, Eco-friendly, all wood lodge, comprising accommodation of three Queen bed rooms with en suite facilities (Twin-share NZ$180 -$190 per night). Guests have access to our spacious lounge and garden etc to relax and entertain.
St Arnaud House is approx 600 metres stroll from Lake Rotoiti. St Arnaud is a small village set beside Lake Rotoiti.

It's the ideal base to explore the surrounding beautiful scenery and wilderness of the "Nelson Lakes National Park".The Lake Rotoiti area offers a very wide range of recreational activities, from leisurely strolls along the many well formed marked tracks beside the Lake, to the more challenging tramps/hikes eg Parachute Rocks and ultimately on to the crest of the St Arnaud range or walk the Mt Robert Circuit, and along the many tracks and routes that explore Nelson Lakes National Parks rugged wilderness. St Arnaud house is a great base for other activities such as Trout Fishing, Skiing Rainbow Ski Field, Mountain biking, Special events days on Lake Rotoiti, Guiding with the Nelson Guiding club.
