Description

The Lake Geneva "Lakehouse" was built in the 1920s and has many of the original features such as arched doorways, high ceilings, hardwood floors and wainscoting.  It recently completed a remodel/redecorating that helped return it to its original look & feel as a beautiful, old Lake House on Lake Geneva. The interior has a light and airy "Pottery Barn" look with pedestal sinks in the bathrooms and hardwood floors throughout, including the main floor bathroom and kitchen.  The large living room has a stone fireplace and leads to a screened-in porch that overlooks a large lawn filled with trees leading down to the lake (this area is association property, but allows for direct access to the lake, about 150 yds. away).

The Lakehouse offers 4 bedrooms (2 on the main floor and 2 on the lower level) and 3 full bathrooms.  The lower level is a walkout with one of the king bedrooms offering a spectacular view through two French double-doors that open onto a deck which overlooks the  park-like setting below.  The lower level can be accessed by interior stairs, an exterior door as well as through the French double-doors opening onto the deck.  Besides the 4 bedrooms there are 3 built-in bunk beds (for kids) in the "bunk room" - a common area of the lower level.   There is central heat/AC, a washer & dryer, dishwasher, microwave, TV with cable, DVD player, stereo with CD player, all kitchen utensils, pots & pans, icemaker and Weber grill outdoors. The dining room table can seat 8 people. There is an association pier for swimming.  The home is in a very quiet, residential area.  The pier, as well as the deck on the house, get sun all day long and have views to the south and west for beautiful sunsets.
