Description

This is the slightly smaller cottage which was renovated in 2008 in manner which retains and enhances the simplicity and sense of history of the cottage. It is awaited accreditation which is expected to be 4 stars. This Cottage is well equipped with all that is expected of a modern home from home but with many historical references, several of a local nature.  It also has countryside views.  Upstairs there is a Master bedroom with a king sized bed. There is a single bedroom with a normal single bed which also contains an additional 2ft 6" pull out bed which is suitable for a child or young teenager. Downstairs there is the third bedroom which is particularly suitable for guests who prefer not to use the stairs or it is ideal as a teenager's retreat.

Alternatively this room is furnished in such as manner that it easily becomes a second TV lounge. There is a large living room with a television with Freeview and a DVD player. This room has a dining and seating area. The bathroom is on the ground floor with a bath and separate spacious shower. There is a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, electric oven and hobs. There is an adjoining utility room with a washer / dryer, a second sink and hanging space for outdoor clothes and boots etc.. The Cottage has oil central heating. Outside there is a patio and barbeque area with garden furniture (see photo below). There is secure bike storage and washing facilities. No smoking or pets are allowed inside the cottage. A travel cot and high chair are available plus toys, children's books and games.
