Description

Tall pines, a crystal clear lake and clean mountain air are just a few of the natural assets of this beautiful resort area.

The mountain atmosphere sets the mood for an easy and casual pace of vacationing, hunting, fishing, or just plain loafing.

Our lodge has a bar, restaurant and a store. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are known for our huge cuts of prime rib on the weekends and also serve choice steaks. Our chef usually does offer several specials a night.

The Bucks Lake area is very casual with friendly people who enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of city life enjoying the slower pace.

Everything at Buck's Lake Lodge is informal and uncomplicated, from the manner of dress to our various facilities. Of course, modest rates go along with our simplicity.

There are no fancy planned events, shepherded by "social directors", but Buck's does have special holiday celebrations.

Whether your tastes run to fishing, hiking, riding, water skiing or boating, you'll find Buck's is a good place to be...it's easy to get to, but hard to leave.

The Lodge offers a store which has lures, worms and bait, beer, wines and all grocery items except fresh cut meats. Also offers game room and pool table.

You'll find warm days, and cool nights, no fog. Bucks Lake is big and broad and blue and is a major attraction, but there are places to walk or drive to, scenery to see, trees and streams and wildflowers to enjoy.

Beaches are safe and gradual for children and the water of the lake is crystal clear and safe for canoes, jet skies and water skiing as well as fishing and wind sailing.

The Pacific Crest Trail also crosses at Bucks Lake which is a wonderful area for hiking.
