The small medieval suburb of San Pellegrino is located at the northeastern part of Umbria along the old Roman road called Flaminia which connects Rome to the Adriatic Sea.

Gualdo Tadino is an old town known for its tradition in the arts and in ceramic production. It is located near Gubbio in well-known city rich in history, and Assisi, a place of pilgrimage for Christians from all over the world.

The influx of tourists has been recently renewed in the Central Appennine zone because of the presence of the Regional Park of Monte Cucco, known for its magnificent caves which are favourite objective of speleologists as well as hang-gliders and excursionists who love to go trekking.

"Casale degli ulivi" is a small cottage in the country-side in the midst of a natural environment rich in beautiful landscapes and historical landmarks.

It is situated on top of a hill, at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level, where it dominates the entire valley of Gualdo Tadino and offers a spectacular view of Appennine mountains.

Its uncontaminated environment offers the possibility to go on excursions on foot, following itineraries for trekking or in mountain bikes; those who love good cooking will find typical restaurants which serve traditional Umbrian dishes.

At 10 km away is Monte Cucco Park, where one can go trekking, hiking, sightseeing, hangliding, para-glinding, excursion in caves, go down the gorge of Rio Freddo and cross-country skiing during the winter.

At 20 km away is Fabriano, an old city famous for its paper industry, and a little farther away are the caves of Frasassi in the city of Genga.
