Description

Maison du Midi (Noontime House) provides precisely what you, as a visitor, need. You'll find that it is scrupulously clean, warmly welcoming, exceptionally comfortable, surprisingly affordable, and quietly yet handily located.

The property itself is a substantial 17th Century home in a tiny and very quiet street in the old quarter of Magnac Laval. It was built using stones from the ancient feudal chateau that once occupied its site.

Its present owners have sympathetically restored and comprehensively renovated the property, so that today you will enjoy every modern comfort amidst a wealth of period character. Their ambition was to make their guests feel entirely relaxed and at home, and they have certainly achieved their ambition. Indeed, families, couples, groups and individuals who just want to get away from it all are equally welcome.

The house is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout and has a charming garden at the rear. There is ample parking for visitors' vehicles on the street outside, alongside the owners' own cars.

On the second floor is a spacious, centrally heated, self-contained apartment. This has:

  • An entrance lobby-cum-kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge, microwave oven, and coffee machine
  • A sitting room with sofa bed, dining area, television with DVD player and  Wi-fi access.
  • A bedroom with double bed, and
  • A shower room with lavatory, basin and shower.
  • Exclusive use of secluded terrace with bbq
