Sleeps: 12***WALK TO THE SKI LIFTS** The Okemo House, fully renovated in 2012, is the consummate Vermont ski chalet, located just steps from the base lodge of Okemo Mountain in Ludlow, Vermont. With beds to sleep 12, this home is on a private wooded lot with views of the Okemo ski resort and is a spacious 2,000 square foot home with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and two large family rooms. With an open-concept living room, dining room and kitchen, the home has two wood stoves, cable and wireless internet, and a large hot tub on a beatiful private rear deck.
Location is everything for this home -- we are just 2/10 miles from the Okemo Mountain base lodge and 1 mile from downtown Ludlow. For skiers, it is a quick walk to the base lodge, or we are directly on the Okemo shuttle route -- you can be picked up right at the end of the driveway! No hassles or packing up the car to drive to the ski resort! With a great location and a beautiful home with all of the amenities, this is the perfect home for your weekend or week-long rental!

Peak Ski Season Nighty Rates (Christmas Week through Late March):
$395/midweek; $800/weekend
Additional $295 cleaning fee plus 9% VT State Tax
A refundable $500 damage deposit is also required
Our extended family of 3 adults and 6 teenagers enjoyed our stay. The house is well laid out, with living areas on 3 floors. The kitchen/dining/living area are plenty big to feed the whole crew and also to spread out for games and movies. Hot tub was great after a long day on the mountain. The walk down the hill to the Clock Tower lodge is about the same as you would have if you were parked in an outer lot at any ski area - i.e. not short but doable in boots and carrying skis.
THE HOUSE WAS GREAT AND AS PICTURED. KIDS LOVED THE HOT TUB EVEN AT 10 DEGREES AND THE WIND BLOWING!!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK NEXT YEAR. WE WERE REALLY CLOSE TO THE CLOCK TOWER SKI LODGE, SO GETTING BACK AND FORTH WAS NO ISSUE.
Can't wait to come back to a house we would love to own someday!
