This studio Condo is located at the Summit Village on Shanty Creek Resort next to the Lakeview Hotel & Conference Center. All guests have use of Lakeview and Schuss Hotel pools, and Summit Village Beach Club.
 
Enjoy an affordable get-away at this furnished extended stay efficiency studio. This remodeled unit will give you beautiful accommodations at one of Northern Michigan's popular Golf and Ski resorts. Bellaire is in the heart of Vacation country just 45 miles NE of Traverse City.
 
The unit has 1 Queen bed, a Full size futon couch, a kitchenette, and wireless internet from the resort is usually available. The kitchenette is equipped with an electric frying pan, dishs, glassware and silverwarepots for simple cooking for four.
 
A short walk from the clubhouse for The Legend and Summit golf courses. In the winter just walk across the parking lot and you're ready to ski at Summit or board the shuttle to Schuss Mountain. Downhill skiers and snow boarders will enjoy the free shuttle to the Schuss Mountain runs every 15 minutes all day. It's a 5 minute ride.
 
Rent Snowmobiles on the resort at the Schuss Ski Shop and snowmobile the Jordan Valley snowmobile trail system.
 
Golf the popular 'Chief' or 'Hawk's Eye' within 5 minute drive.
 
Golfing: The area is a Golfer's paradise with 7 Great Golf courses within 10 minutes drive of the condo. The Shanty Creek Resort has 4 Championship Courses. Walk from the condo to the clubhouse for The Legend and Summit golf courses. Golf the championship Cedar River course designed by Tom Weiskoph, or The Legend designed by Arnold Palmer.
 
Also golf the popular area courses: ‘The Chief', 'Hawk's Eye', or Bellaire Golf course all within 10 minutes drive of condo.
 
The fall colors are also spectacular in this part of Northern Michigan. A great location for day trips to Mackinaw Island, Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and much more. Several Restaurants on the Resort.
 
Skiing: Schuss Mountain features four quad chair lifts, 37 runs, 450' of vertical, redesigned terrain park, new half pipe, and night skiing. Summit offers downhill skiing, terrain park, and beginner lessons. Cedar River has a tubing run available to all Shanty Creek Resort guests. The 30 km of X-country trails are groomed, and will be a delight for the beginner or advanced skier. Just walk across the parking lot to take free shuttle to Schuss Mountain ski area and Cedar River tubing park. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes. It's a 5 minute ride to downhill and X-country skiing at Schuss Mountain. Rent a Snowmobile on site by the hour, 1/2 day, or day and snowmobile the Jordan Valley snowmobile trail.
 
Resort & Area Amenities: The Resort amenities available free to condo guests are: indoor swimming pool & jacuzzi hot-tub, outdoor swimming pool, & tennis. Also located on the resort: Lakeview Restaurant, Gift shop, Fitness center and spa (in the Lakeview Hotel - a daily use fee is required). A number of restaurants are located in Bellaire only 5 minutes drive from the condo. Summit Village Beach Club on Lake Bellaire with nice sandy beach, playground, and charcoal grills is available free to all guests. There is a public boat launch next the the Summit Village Beach Club.

Great Getaway for a Few Days


Steve was easy to communicate with and access to the condo was very simple. Beautiful area and we lucked out with gorgeous weather to enjoy exploring the area lakes and parks. Bellaire is also a great little town. We enjoyed Dockside restaurant twice, Short\'s Brewery, and got smoked whitefish at the Smokehouse. The pools on the resort were a nice bonus and the Beach Club was a great quiet place to watch the sunset. We also enjoyed hiking through the natural areas. The condo is efficient. It was a little tight with us and our three month old daughter(and all the stuff babies require), but we made it work. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect couple's place


Very quiet clean condo with nice amenities.. comfortable bed, nice bathroom, even a small kitchenette for making breakfast! Loved the Beach Club with Lake Bellaire access. Great base for exploring the area. We will be back. Thanks Steve for your gracious hospitality.

Great place!


Nicely remodeled, exceptionally clean studio condo! Priced very fairly. Close to main lodge. If you are not a sound sleeper the Only down side is the walls are kind of thin and you can hear the neighbors. We will definitely consider returning here in the near future!
