Your family will enjoy this spacious private home. View the morning sunrise over the ocean and sunset on the sound. Top Floor-Large Great Room, Dining Area (lg deck facing the ocean) Kitchen with with decking to view sunsets. There is a guest bathroom on this level along with a master suite Queen bed and its own sitting room facing the ocean. LINENS INCLUDED. 
 
The Second floor contains a master suite with king bed, sitting room and decking with west views. Master bedroom with queen bed, Large bedroom with king bed (private deck oceanside) that shares a bath with a large bedroom that has 1 queen bed and 1 full bed.
 
The bottom floor has a large game room with pool table, wet bar, t.v. dvd, patio, half bath, gas fireplace, books, video library & games. There is a laundry area on the first landing. Central air.
 
Enjoy this large private pool with cabana half bath and dressing area, there is also a shower outdoors.
The sitting areas in two of the master bedrooms - pack n play.
Park grill, picnic table and benches, plenty of pool side lounges and chairs. Beach chairs, beach wagon etc.
Our beautiful wide sandy beach has a lifeguard posted..
 
Short stays (min 4 nights) are available in early and late season. Rents from Saturday to Saturday. Discounts apply for small families (6 or less) and for 2 or more week stays.
 
Home located at 576 Trolling Lane, Oceanside, East of Route 12, close to tennis and beach (walking distance 0.2 miles 1056 ft/350 yds) this house is not on Route 12 and there is no walk thru access to route 12 from the house.
 
Like jogging, running, walking or cycling we have a newly constructed walkway on route 12 4 miles long.

Wonderful in every way


Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Pelican\'s Rest for my husband\'s 60 birthday celebration. Our four sons and their wives/fiancées came from 3 different states along with 3 grandchildren. We all converged at this very warm home. Eileen was very easy and pleasant to work with and was quick to reply via e mail and phone to any of my questions and concerns. I felt like the accomodations were even BETTER than the pictures depict. The kitchen is wonderfully furnished for your cooking needs. The walk to the beach is very doable for little ones ( we had 3 that were 3 and under.) The DeFazzio\'s have provided lots of pool and beach toys for you use during your stay. Eileen also was such a hostess with questions about surrounding amenities such as stores and eateries.

Beautiful Home and Great Owners


We had a large family vacation and looked for a large house. I can tell you that the pictures do not do the house justice! Beautiful house, great amenities, and a 5 minute walk to the beach! Mr and Mrs DeFazio were fantastic and really easy to work with. House and kitchen well stocked and little was needed. Minor issues were taken care of quickly and without hassle. We will definitely look to book with them again.

Perfect Vacation Spot!


We stayed at Pelican Rest with our daughters, their husbands and 4 young grandchildren for our first ever \"all family\" vacation together. The house suited our needs perfectly and the beautiful pool was divine for cooling off after our time out on the beach. The upstairs living/dining kitchen area was wonderful for us to spend time together and we all enjoyed sitting down to eat at one table. The location was most convenient to the grocery store. It was a well-stocked home in every way and Eileen was always quick to respond to emails and questions. We loved the views from the decks and felt it really was our home for the week. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful house!

Great house! Perfect for our family!


We had rented a different house in Ocean Sands, and the owner canceled on us less than 2 weeks before our stay!. Home away was wonderful at making sure we got our money back and then helped to find another house at the last minute. We had a couple of options but chose Pelican Rest. This was perfect for our family configurations and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well equiped and everything in the house worked well. Only thing we can think of is that a screen door was missing on the upstairs Queen suite. We all like to have windows/doors open as opposed to AC. Eileen was very helpful and worked with Home Away to make the final arrangements from the canceled house to this one. We would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you!

Relaxing and fun week!


We had a great stay at Pelican Rest for July 1- 8, 2017. Eileen was very helpful and responsive while we were staying in the house. She left us wine and coffee as a welcome gift & sent us a suggestion for July 4th. The house was very clean and well-stocked with kitchen supplies, movies, games, beach chairs, beach towels, and pool floats. There was plenty of space for all 9 of us. The kids really enjoyed the pool table when they weren\'t swimming in the pool or at the beach. The beach is a short walk and has a lifeguard on duty. Overall, we loved our stay in beautiful Pelican\'s Rest.
