ONE OF A KIND NEW MEXICO EXPERIENCE!

This is a uniquely hand crafted cabin that provides every immenity you could ask for. One of a kind, is the only way to describe it. I have known George and Donna for years and they have put together a truly amazing vacation destination. This cabin has something to offer for everyone. From relaxing by the wood burning stove to snowshoeing the beautiful canyon out the front door. Great for adults, children, and group getaways. A vacation experience you will never forget!

Love, love, love

We loved our stay at this rustic and unique cabin - it\'s so charming. George & Donna are the best hosts and will direct you to see all the best sites in the area. We\'ll definitely be back to enjoy this lovely place.

A Magical Place

This charming storybook cabin offers a magical retreat that aptly confirms New Mexico as the true \"Land of Enchantment.\" After daily excursions to places such as Bandelier, nearby pueblos, or the museums, shops, restaurants, and art galleries of Taos and Santa Fe, we always looked forward to the comfort and quiet of this beautiful cabin. Constructed of found and repurposed materials, decorated with Navajo rugs, art work, and comfortable furniture, it reflects the creativity, imagination, and good taste of the owners. We look forward to another visit and would highly recommended it as a vacation destination.

An Amazing Trip We Will Never Forget

What a divine cabin and a very special family. George and Donna really know how to make a family feel at home. The pictures online do not do this cabin justice - it was simply perfect. From the moment George met us to escort us to the cabin, we felt their kind hospitality and love for their special place. The beds are extremely comfy, the wood-burning stove is perfect after a day in the snow, the kitchen is extremely well-stocked and the bathrooms are plentiful. Being in the middle of the Santa Fe National Forest is stunningly beautiful. The boys and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back! George and Donna are the perfect, thoughtful hosts - it\'s clear they love their guests. Thank you for such wonderful memories!

Perfect cozy cabin for a long weekend getaway

We had a girls\' long-weekend at the cabin, sorely needed by most of us, and the incredible experience was one we hope to repeat annually. SF had just received a hefty snowfall, so the outdoor ambiance was just as picture-perfect as the cozy, warm interior. Hosts George and Donna care for this cabin as if it were their own, because it is their own, and it shows. They were there to greet us personally upon arrival, even though we had printed instructions with directions, tv codes, etc. The wood-burning stove (with plenty of wood available) and radiant-heated floors kept the cabin toasty warm. It was hard to break up our conversations at night -- everyone enjoyed the easy camaraderie of sharing that special, cozy space, light-years away from the hustle-bustle of our usual schedules. We never even turned on the television -- it would have been an unwelcome distraction in our otherwise serene cabin in the snowy woods! The kitchen is fully furnished, even though we opted to dine in SF for most meals. Be sure to request a 4-wheel-drive rental if snow is on the ground or forecast during your visit -- ours was a standard 4WD SUV rental from ABQ and it did fine. Take advantage of the hosts\' knowledge of the area and ask for suggestions for excursions other than the touristy sites. We were pointed to Chimayo, an unhurried drive to a picturesque village, followed by an authentic NM meal at Rancho de Chimayo. All-in-all, one of the best getaways ever! This will become an annual tradition. Highly recommend!
