Magical retreat in a rainforest mountaintop


Our family of five had the most wonderful time at Deb\'s and Pete\'s property. I f you like being one with nature, you must pick this property. As with all things remote and off the beaten path, the property is bit of of a hike to get to [19 kms from the main road], but we had no qualms about making the trip on a daily basis. Besides, Deb and Pete are the kindest, warmest folks you will ever meet. They really welcome you and make sure you are comfortable in their rental home. You will not regret the choice.

Perfect Getaway


We went on this trip looking to take a breather and relax after all the hectic stress of wedding planning. We got that and more. Our stay was tailored to our needs and was so relaxing. We were able to go to bed and wake up to the sounds of the rainforest. The food was excellent and Deb and Pete were great hosts. I wanted to stay! Looking forward to going back one day!

Lovely Property, Great Hosts


We had a wonderful stay at Light of Dawn. The property is an oasis of exotic plants and trees. Pete and Deborah are great hosts. The tour of the property the first day was informative and ended with a swim in the river and at the waterfall. Fantastic. It was hot during the day, but it cooled off nicely every evening for sleeping. The trip to the Villa is about 30 minutes from town up the side of a mountain, so be prepared for a little adventure to get there. It is well worth the drive. While in town, Manuel Antonio park and beach is a must. Zip lining and the Catamaran cruise are very good.

A wonderful and beautiful stay.


We had a great time staying at Peter\'s place. Peter showed us around his ace and was very informative on the flora and fauna. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and the grounds were a tropical paradise (really). Recommend to anyone that is not bothered by an approximate 40minute drive from Quepos down some bumpy but pretty dirt roads.
