Beautiful Provencal House In Wonderful Location!

We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful stay in this beautiful Provencal House which is full of character and which is superbly furnished and equipped. The owners have thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay - the kitchen will please the keenest cook and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome during our stay. But our favourite parts of the property were the gorgeous pool area and the covered dining terrace where we spent many happy hours. The property is so lovely you may not want to venture far away, but the location within walking distance of the pretty village of Villecroze is ideal and there are lots of other interesting villages nearby to explore. Overall a wonderful House and a beautiful setting for a holiday. We very much hope to return for another stay and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Wonderful Villecroze

A beautiful and charming period House five minutes walk , or less, from the village centre. Decorated to the hightest standards the home offers a wonderful escape from all the stresses and strains of everyday life. The pool area and garden are absolutely delightful and a perfect place to while away the days.. there are lovely terraces to enjoy and private parking with good security. The village itself remains very authentic with a wide number of places to eat and drink often accompanied by the gentle background sounds of boules. And the surrounding area is full of many delights to explore and discover. Highly recommended

A Little Bit Of Provencal Paradise

We have spent two very happy holidays here with various members of our family and found it hard each time to leave. The House is lovely and has beautifully appointed bedrooms, bathrooms and open-plan living downstairs, and the kitchen has everything even the most adventurous cook might need. We sat outside on the terrace for most of our meals under a canopy of vines to protect us from the midday sun, overlooking the pretty garden and gorgeous pool, consuming probably rather too much of the local rose wine. Being able to wander up to Villecroze village square with its bars, cafes and shops in just a few minutes is a great advantage. The larger town of Salernes is only 5 minutes drive away where there are several supermarkets and a very good weekly market. The village of Tourtour is high up and about 10 minutes drive away and is definitely a must. If you are feeling energetic it takes about 45 minutes to walk up and experience the exceptional views. We thoroughly recommend La Grange Aux Foins.

La Grange Villecroze

The proximity to the village was a boon. To be able to walk for 5 minutes to buy your bread in the morning was bliss. Also to repeat the same at different times of the day to eat or drink in the beautiful village square. The whole set-up to include the house, annexe gardens and pool was fantastic. As a family we all had a memorable holiday.
