Description

Come enjoy your Cape Cod vacation in Cotuit with easy access on and off the Cape by staying in a quintessential Cape house that is fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.  All linens and towels are provided, along with beach chairs, umbrella, toys, KAYAK, life jackets, bikes, helmets, coolers, etc.  
 
ALSO, Just a short walk (10-15min.) or bike ride to 2 beaches, or about 1 mile away is the home of the Cotuit Kettleers baseball field where you can enjoy some of the best college baseball players play games from June-August .  You can also use our beach sticker to park at all the beaches in Barnstable County if you want to explore other beaches.  
 
After purchasing the house in 2015, many upgrades have been made such as new carpeting, fresh paint, brand new windows, air conditioners in all bedrooms, generator, new front and french doors,  re-landscaped, etc.
 
When you first enter the house, you will notice its open floor plan.  The inviting family room is open to both the spacious dining area and large kitchen that is furnished with all the comforts of your own home.  In the dining room is a white wicker chest that houses some fun games that both adults and kids will enjoy playing.  We have also added more games in the front coat closet.  The best part of the house though, is conveniently located just outside the new french doors of the dining area...the EXTRA LARGE (approximately 400 square feet) completely screened in porch!  If you know the Cape, you know the value of a screened in porch on those muggy days of summer.  With its vaulted ceiling, recessed lights, bar, sitting area, and cool breeze the screens allow, this section of the house is perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee, taking a mid day nap, or entertaining in the evening.  The first floor also offers the first of its 3 bedrooms with its new, plush, queen size bed.  A spacious 3/4 bathroom is located just across the hall that includes a washer and dryer.  There is also another washer and dryer in the basement for large loads if needed.  Upstairs, you will find two large, seaside decorated bedrooms.  Both of these bedrooms include wall air conditioning units.  To the left of the stairs is the Master bedroom, furnished with a new king size bed and includes a sitting area to read or watch T.V.  The other bedroom (the kid's bedroom) includes 4 brand new twin beds and is a fun place to have a slumber party.  Located between the two bedrooms is a large, full bathroom.  
 
Let's not forget the outside!  An outdoor shower is located in the backyard!  If you have never taken a shower outside, you need to try it!   It's an extremely refreshing way to clean up after a day at the beach.  A large grassy yard surrounds the house from the front, to the left side of the house around the porch, and into the backyard.

Truly wonderful experience


This is a beautiful location in one of the nicest villages on Cape Cod! The neighborhood is quiet and very close to the beach. The beach pass included with the rental was a great bonus. The house itself was clean and had all the amenities you could want including beach gear and sporting equipment. Also, the screened in porch was absolutely amazing and made the house all the more enjoyable. The owner, Carolyn, was extremely responsive and thought of everything with this rental. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful combination of traditional Cape Cod and comfortable modern touches


Great location near beaches, but up the hill a bit where a 3-sided porch catches the breeze. The owners keep the house well-stocked with kitchen good, paper products ... well above what one expects. The interior is done with a designers\' taste; again a combination of the town\'s long history and more modern (read, comfortable) furniture. If the heat gets too great, there\'s air-conditioning in all bedrooms. All in all, a great family vacation for us.

Perfect Cozy Location for your Group


A group of friends got together for a long weekend in Cape Cod and we loved this place. Plenty of room to sleep and omg the porch! Be prepared to spend most of your time out there. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a cozy, easy location in the cape.
