Recently renovated but with much of its original stonework maintained. The Old Mission Hall has been modernised to a high standard and comfortably furnished. A small seating area at the front of the cottage provides an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful sunsets.

The Waternish Peninsula is one of the four Norse divisions of Skye on the North West side of the island. The Old Mission Hall is situated about a mile from the picturesque fishing village of Stein, where there is an excellent fish restaurant (Loch Bay Seafood Restaurant) and the oldest Inn on Skye (Stein Inn), as well as craft shops, tea room, and slipway. Lusta provides a good base from which to explore the Island of Skye. The nearest shops to Lusta are at Dunvegan which is about three miles to the west , and Portree, the administrative centre of Skye, is about twenty miles to the south Please note we offer a discount if you book another week or more in our other cottage in Locheport, on the isle of North Uist.
